I have two main goals at this point in time: to become a professional musical artist and diversity. I am working on making a transition from a semi-professional music maker/teacher to professional one. I want to create an abundance of music covering many different styles, from hardcore punk to house music. My main passion is being a composer/musician, but I pride myself on my engineering and teaching skills; I wouldn't shy away from putting those skills to good use.
I was born in San Diego, California. My father was an architect and my mother was a world class dancer as well as a choreographer, so art runs in the family. I picked up guitar in middle school and played cello in middle school orchestra. I quit playing cello in Orchestra after my freshman year of High School but I studied classical guitar at Grossmont College. I graduated from San Diego State University with a BA Cum Laude and Master's in Global Music Composition. During college I joined a punk band called Foreign Life Form, we disbanded and I helped form a band called FVNERXL MXRCH.
I'm currently writing a string quartet while working as a sound guy at a church in San Diego. I also have been working on building up my freelance career: helping people with beat-making, recording, mixing, mastering, and setting up audio equipment. I am also willing to take commissions for compositions or music for short films. As usual, I am also gigging and recording tracks with my rock band FVNERXL MXRCH. We are working on an album, and we are touring California in October of this year!
